The rain alarm valve has the following main functions:

working principle


The rain alarm valve has a control chamber, a water supply chamber and a system chamber. The diaphragm is sealed by the diaphragm to pressurize the water in the water supply chamber, and the pressure and pressure of the control chamber change the position of the diaphragm to open or close the rain alarm valve. The alarm valve can be activated by the solenoid valve or by opening the emergency start ball valve. The function of the anti-reset valve is to seal the water inlet passage of the control chamber when the control chamber pressure relief rain alarm valve is opened, to prevent the water from being reset due to the control chamber pressurized rain alarm valve, and to open the control chamber when the rain alarm valve needs to be closed. The inlet channel is pressurized to reset the diaphragm. Prevent accidental spray accidents caused by water pressure fluctuations when the rain alarm valve is in the servo state.

Water supply and commissioning


First water supply operation steps:


1. Close all the ball valves of the rain alarm valve group and the water supply side and system side butterfly valves of the rain alarm valve;


2. First open the ball valve 6 on the left side of the rain alarm valve (reset the ball valve), and then open the water supply side signal butterfly valve water supply;


3. Slowly open the emergency start ball valve 2 exhaust, and close it when there is water flowing out;


4. When the anti-reset valve 7 stops draining, when the pressure of the upper and lower pressure gauges is balanced, the reset ball valve 6 is closed;


5 Open the system drain valve and close the system drain valve when there is no water flowing out;


6. Open the alarm ball valve 1 and the system side butterfly valve to enter the servo state.


Valve reset operation steps after fire start or quarterly start-up:


1. Close the water supply side butterfly valve;


2. Reset the solenoid valve and close the manual emergency start ball valve 2;


3. Open the reset ball valve 6;


4. Open the system side drain ball valve 5, and when the water is not discharged, close the drain ball valve;


5, in order to prevent water from entering the system caused by accidental spray, first close the system side butterfly valve;


6. Open the water supply side butterfly valve, observe the water alarm bell, pressure switch, no alarm or pressure switch no action;


7. Close the reset ball valve 6, open the system side butterfly valve, and the system resumes the servo state.


? Installation and use:


a. The rain alarm valve group should be installed at a location above 4 °C that does not freeze.


b. There should be sufficient maintenance space around the installation location of the rain alarm valve group to ensure repair within the shortest downtime.


c. Vertical installation of the rain alarm valve group (to be notified when the horizontal installation is required). Pay attention to the direction of water in and out during installation.


d. A filter must be installed before the rain alarm valve to ensure the water supply is clean.


e. Signal butterfly valves should be installed at both ends of the rain alarm valve group.


f. The rubber piece on the rain alarm valve group—the diaphragm piece, in order to prevent aging from causing unnecessary loss, it is recommended to replace it once in 5-6 years.
